Crepuscolo
Crepuscolo was formed in 1995 with the goal of delivering powerful, aggressive death metal deeply rooted in the legendary Scandinavian scene. Of the original lineup, only two members remain: Umberto on guitar and Franz on vocals and bass, the band's true creative core. After several lineup changes, Crepuscolo found a solid and cohesive formation with Lorenzo on drums and Enzo on guitar. Together, they have fully developed the band's musical identity: uncompromising, old-school death metal that is direct, heavy, and relentless. Over the years, the band has independently released several promotional CDs, including Iztatso? and The New Beginning, helping to establish its name within the underground metal scene. This was followed by two full-length albums: Revolution Evilution, released by the American label HPGD Production, and YouTomb, released through the Ukrainian label Metal Scrap Records. Crepuscolo has also produced several official music videos, including Under the Oak's Shadow, Revolution Evilution, and My Scars Tell a Story. The latter was filmed in the stunning natural setting of Canfaito, in the province of Macerata, Italy, and was featured in an article by the local newspaper Cronache Maceratesi. The band has performed extensively throughout Italy, playing numerous clubs and festivals while earning a strong reputation for their intense and energetic live shows. Their live activity has also taken them abroad with three tours in the Czech Republic, in 2015, 2019, and most recently in May 2026. Crepuscolo is currently preparing the release of their new album, Singing in the Grave, to be released by Distorted Production. The album confirms the band's continuous evolution while remaining faithful to the raw spirit and uncompromising sound of authentic old-school death metal.
